Pergolenviertel Construction Site 10a Hamburg

In terms of urban development, the Pergolenviertel can be described as an ensemble of large-scale residential courtyards in the park. With its up to eight storeys, the building marks a high point in the neighbourhood and forms the entrance to the south of the pergola neighbourhood. The structure consists of three buildings, which house a co-operative and three building communities. Despite individual floor plans, the building presents itself as a unified ensemble and emphasises the clarity of the urban design. The façade is based on a simple grid which, through the insertion of loggias, window openings and and wall panes, the façade is based on a simple grid that allows a wide range of opening or closing of the façade.
