Representation of the City of Hamburg Berlin

Two listed buildings from the late 19th century are rebuilt for use by the Representation of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. The historic building is thereby contrasted with a deliberately accentuated, expressive design. The expressive roof extension connects the old building to the new, ensuring that the use of both buildings is clear from an external perspective. In addition to high quality office space, prestigious areas for guests and events are created, equipped with the latest technology. A light well distributes daylight into the lower rooms of the building. Strategically placed sculptural room dividers emphasize the layout of the rooms and give an air of harmony to the overall appearance of the interior space.
