ABB Renovation of Building 701 Baden Switzerland

In the historic office building 701 of the Swiss company Asea Brown Boveri in Baden, Switzerland, the main office areas on all floors are redesigned in three construction phases. Planning involves the redesign of the main entrance area and stairwell, sanitary facilities, hall areas, and a conference space. In the first phase the so-called “Knights’ Hall”, a frontal lounge area with cloakroom, small kitchen and hall areas, is completed in a construction period of just two months during the continued operation of the business. The walls of the Knights’ Hall are partly covered with dark leather, which, in combination with the discreet lighting, create a pleasant, warm atmosphere. The use of high quality materials lends an air of distinction and professionalism to all areas.
