Cultural and Educational Centre Bad Oldesloe

As part of an invited urban design competition, a centrally located area in Bad Oldesloe is to receive a new urban structure. Two existing buildings – the listed town hall and the former local court – are complemented by new buildings, which together represent the cultural and social demands of the centre while playing a subordinate role to the adjacent historic buildings. The facade consists of two different ceramic tile modules, the variation of which creates a sequenced interplay of foreground, background and joins.
